CONTEMPORARY HISTORY OF SLOVENIA
website development | client: MNSZS
We drew inspiration from newspaper article design elements.
The website uses a predominantly black background with white text, creating a strong contrast that makes the content stand out. On hover color is used for highlighting various sections. This high-contrast color scheme creates a modern and sleek look that focuses attention on the content. The design is consistent throughout the website, with uniform typography, color schemes, and layout structures. This consistency enhances the user experience by providing a predictable and coherent visual environment. The layout follows a grid system, which organizes content into distinct sections.
This structured approach enhances readability and navigation, making it easy for users to find information quickly. The typography is simple and sans-serif, contributing to the clean and modern aesthetic. The font size and weight vary to emphasize hierarchy and readability.. The use of color, size, and spacing creates a strong visual hierarchy The images are displayed in a carousel format for the events section, adding a dynamic element to the design. For the sub-pages we have developed a variety of different elements like timelines and drop-down sections. The navigation menu is located at the top of the page with clear labels. It includes options for visiting information, exhibitions, education, collections, about the museum, and venue rental. Simple, clean icons are used for contact information and social media links, adding to the minimalist feel.
